Job Title: Embedded Hardware Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop embedded hardware systems for a wide range of applications.
- Create detailed schematics and perform PCB layout for multi-layer boards using industry-standard tools.
- Select, evaluate, and validate electronic components to ensure cost-effective and reliable designs.
- Develop and execute thorough hardware testing and validation procedures.
- Collaborate with firmware and software teams to ensure seamless hardware-software integration.
- Troubleshoot and debug hardware issues, optimizing system performance and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., EMI/EMC, safety certifications).
- Generate comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and validation reports.
- Work with manufacturing and assembly teams to ensure design-for-manufacturability (DFM) and production readiness.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Min of 2-5 year of experience with Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout using tools such as Altium Designer, KiCad, Eagle, or OrCAD.
- Solid experience with high-speed digital, analog, and power electronics circuit design.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters.
- Strong understanding of embedded processors, microcontrollers, and common communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, etc.).
- Familiarity with power management circuits and techniques.
- Knowledge of EMI/EMC design principles and PCB layout best practices.
- Ability to interpret datasheets, application notes, and technical circuit documentation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in RF circuit design and PCB layout.
- Understanding of thermal management strategies in electronic hardware design.
- Experience with FPGA-based hardware system design and implementation.
