About Manastu Space:

We are a Space Safety and Logistics Company, using technology to save a Trillion $ Space industry from Debris Pollution in Space. We believe that the problems of Earth can be solved using Space. However, the rapid increase in the number of satellites is also increasing the risk of satellite collision, leading to Debris pollution- making space a dangerous place for other satellites as well as astronauts. To prevent this, we are developing an Agile, Safe, Efficient and Affordable Green Propulsion System with a new fuel, engine and catalyst for the engine to avoid satellite collision in space and prevent Debris Pollution, which can hence be a potential green alternative to the current monopropellant propulsion technology.

In this role, your primary responsibility will be the analysis of thruster firing datasets obtained from various test setups and firing modes. You will interpret, process, and visualize data to extract meaningful insights and support performance evaluation. Additionally, you will collaborate with the AIT team to ensure seamless integration and testing of Manastu’s satellite propulsion systems, ranging from CubeSat to 1-tonne class. While your focus will be on analytical tasks, you may also contribute to software tools that enhance data processing, test automation, and system diagnostics. All propulsion systems, utilizing Manastu’s high-performance green propellant architecture, are assembled, integrated, and tested in-house.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement data analysis algorithms and visualization tools to process and interpret results from monopropellant engine and thruster tests.

Collaborate with propulsion test engineers to understand test requirements, data formats, and analysis needs, ensuring accurate and insightful data processing.

Perform calculations, correlations, and statistical analysis to extract key performance metrics, generating plots, charts, and reports to summarize test results effectively.

Develop and refine software tools that enhance data analysis, automate result interpretation, and improve visualization for various test setups.

Continuously optimize analysis methodologies by integrating advanced algorithms, improving efficiency, and enhancing data processing techniques.

Support AIT activities by analysing test data, verifying propulsion system performance, and contributing to troubleshooting and validation efforts.

Work with electrical simulation tools such as LabView and Simulink to support data-driven analysis and system evaluation.

Assist in satellite component testing by processing data from microcontrollers, flight computers, and related systems, ensuring seamless data interpretation and integration.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s in engineering (+ 1 Year industrial experience, Mechanical / Aerospace)

Master's in engineering (Mechanical / Aerospace)

Experience Qualification:

Minimum 1 year of experience in propulsion system analysis, aerospace engineering, or a related field.

Hands-on experience in analyzing propulsion test data, including thruster performance, efficiency, and fault detection.

Strong understanding of aerospace propulsion, including combustion, fluid flow, and heat transfer.

Experience working with monopropellant, bipropellant, or electric propulsion systems.

Skilled in using Python and MATLAB for data analysis, signal processing, and trend identification in aerospace applications.

Experience with LabView and Simulink for propulsion system simulations and test data validation.

Ability to create clear and useful data visualizations using tools like Matplotlib, Plotly, or Bokeh.

Experience handling large datasets, including telemetry data from propulsion tests.

Familiarity with data verification and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of propulsion system analysis.

Knowledge/Skills:

Strong skills in data analysis and statistics, preferably catered towards aerospace propulsion systems.

Good understanding of chemical and electric propulsion systems and how they work.

Knowledge of how fluids, heat, and chemical reactions affect propulsion system performance.

Ability to analyse thruster efficiency, combustion stability, and system performance.

Familiarity with tools like LabView and Simulink for monitoring and analysing propulsion systems.

Experience working with propulsion test setups, including sensors, data collection, and performance checks.

Basic understanding of aerospace engineering, including spacecraft parts and propulsion system integration.

Strong problem-solving skills to identify trends and issues in test results.

Ability to write clear reports and explain findings to aerospace and propulsion engineers.

Good teamwork skills and ability to work well with experts from different fields in aerospace.
