As a Senior Brand Sales Director, you will be at the forefront of Yelp’s mission, spearheading revenue generation for Yelp’s suite of audience solutions - including both on-platform and off-platform offerings. You will develop and cultivate a designated territory, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, while driving growth across Yelp’s advanced audience products and partnerships. You'll work with brands in industries such as CPG, Finance, beverage and spirit, and DTC.

What you'll do:
- Own a book of up to 40–50 strategic brand accounts, focused exclusively on new business acquisition
- Prospect, pitch, and close new partnerships with brands that do not have physical locations
- Sell Yelp’s managed service advertising solutions, with a focus on Yelp Audiences
- Build and nurture relationships with senior-level marketing decision-makers and media buyers
- Align Yelp’s audience-driven solutions with client goals, campaign objectives, and KPIs
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success, Ad Ops, and Product teams to ensure seamless campaign execution and client satisfaction
- Stay ahead of industry trends and bring fresh, strategic ideas to the table
- Travel as needed (approximately 15–20%) for client meetings, industry events, and team collaboration
What it takes to succeed:
- Have 12+ years of experience in digital media, advertising sales, and both client and agency partnerships, including 8+ years in a direct sales role
- Have a strong track record of exceeding multi-million-dollar quotas and closing deals in the $150K+ range
- Have experience selling managed service and programmatic advertising solutions
- Are a natural hunter who thrives on building new relationships, opening doors, and creating opportunities from scratch—focused exclusively on managed services sales.
- Are comfortable navigating complex sales cycles (3–6 months) and engaging with multiple stakeholders
- Strategic, curious, and solutions-oriented—you don’t just sell products, you solve problems
- Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage a large book of business and hit activity targets (18–25 accounts/month, 8+ touchpoints/account)
- Collaborative and team-oriented, with a strong desire to contribute to a growing team and evolving product set
- Passionate about Yelp’s mission and excited to help brands tap into our 76M+ monthly unique visitors at the moment of intent
