Summary

We are seeking a results-driven Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager to lead the transformation of our lifecycle program for Yelp’s suite of restaurant solutions. As a part of our team, you will be responsible for planning, building, and executing marketing campaigns to promote a multi-product portfolio—including Yelp Host, Yelp Ads, Yelp Guest Manager and add-ons, and future product launches—across owned properties such as email, push, and in-app communications to restaurants. You will own the strategic vision and cross-functional execution of one-off and automated campaigns, to shout Yelp’s value through the rooftops and hit our acquisition KPIs. We are looking for an AI-first thinker who can leverage AI, alongside lifecycle best practices and your expertise to drive business growth and impact.

We’d love to have you apply, even if you don’t feel you meet every single requirement in this posting. At Yelp, we’re looking for great people, not just those who simply check off all the boxes. This is a full-time remote role based in the United States.

What you'll do:

  • Own and execute the end-to-end strategy and execution for lifecycle marketing campaigns from strategy to building to reporting, analysis, and optimization to drive aggressive acquisition for Restaurants’ products.
  • Manage the entire customer journey, moving beyond simple acquisition to drive retention, upsell, and advocacy, treating lifecycle marketing as a product extension that drives "North Star" metrics.
  • Be hands-on in our marketing automation platform (Salesforce Pardot) to set up email and push campaigns to educate, engage, and convert prospects across all restaurant segments (SMB, Mid-market, and Enterprise).
  • Partner with Marketing Ops and other Yelp LCM managers to inject Yelp Host messaging into every possible touchpoint across the entire company.
  • Plan, design, and execute high-tempo lifecycle marketing tests (A/B testing subject lines, offer timing, and channel mix) to uncover opportunities for driving increased campaign engagement and conversion.
  • Write creative briefs and manage production workflow. You will also design email headers via Canva and work with Figma files to ensure visual consistency.
  • Manage Calendly events to streamline customer scheduling and engagement.
  • Uncover opportunities for marketing campaign optimization across the customer lifecycle including segmentation and personalization, leveraging product usage data to trigger messages based on user behavior.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues in complex marketing programs, including utilizing Validity for email deliverability and list hygiene.

What it takes to succeed:

  • 5+ years of experience in email and lifecycle marketing or related field within a SaaS, B2B tech, or restaurant technology environment.
  • 3+ years experience building marketing automation campaigns using top-tier tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Braze, Hubspot, Eloqua or similar.
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Expertise in Salesforce Pardot, specifically building Engagement Studio campaigns and form handlers.
  • Ability to design assets using Canva and navigate Figma files.
  • Experience managing Calendly events and integrations.
  • Familiarity with Validity for monitoring sender reputation and deliverability.
  • Comfortable modifying and updating HTML and CSS email templates.
  • You have a growth mindset, viewing lifecycle marketing as a revenue engine; capable of designing and executing high-volume campaigns across Email, Push, and in-product messaging (IPM).
  • You have demonstrated expertise or strong interest in AI/ML—using AI for research, copywriting, optimization, and analysis.
  • You are strongly analytical, using data to derive insights and produce regular reporting.
  • You have strategic lifecycle marketing program experience, including Upsell/Cross-sell, nurturing, and retention (loyalty, referrals, or churn-reduction) campaigns and automation.
  • You have outstanding communication skills—both written and verbal—with the proven ability to collaborate with technical stakeholders and influence leadership.

What you'll get:

  • Effective your first day: Full medical, vision, and dental
  • 15 days PTO (accrual begins on date of hire and increases with 2+ years of tenure thereafter), 12 paid holidays, plus one floating holiday
  • Up to 14 weeks of parental leave
  • Monthly wellness subsidy
  • Work from home reimbursement
  • Flexible spending account
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan
  • Employee stock purchase plan
  • Compensation range for this position is $106,000- $198,000 annually. You may also be offered a bonus and benefits.
