Growth Science Manager, Consumer Marketing
Yelp
Summary
Yelp’s mission is to connect people with great local businesses. As a trusted source of information on local business, millions of people turn to Yelp every day to make decisions about where to spend their money - from where to eat, shop, or stay, to which home or local service provider to use, and beyond.
As part of the Consumer Marketing team, the Growth Science Manager will harness rigorous analytics, strategic partnership, and operational execution to fuel Yelp’s next phase of user growth. This high-impact role combines deep channel and user analysis, OKR ownership, funnel optimization, and creative data mining of Yelp’s vast data sets to accelerate scalable, predictable growth.
Our team is passionate about data, experimentation, and the power of new technology, including AI, to drive innovation. We are especially interested in candidates who bring direct experience in applying AI to uncover deep consumer insights.
We’d love to have you apply, even if you don’t feel you meet every single requirement in this posting. At Yelp, we’re looking for great people, not just those who simply check off all the boxes. This is a full-time remote role based in the United States.

- Experimentation & Strategic Recommendations: Design, run, and interpret A/B and multivariate experiments. Translate findings into actionable recommendations for marketing, product, and leadership teams.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Marketing, Biz Ops, Product, Engineering, Data & Analytics and Strategy teams to turn analytical insights into business action. Facilitate data-driven decision-making at all levels. Regularly present to both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the org.
- Develop and Scale Analytical Best Practices: Champion best practices in analytics infrastructure, fostering a culture of experimentation and continuous learning across the growth team. Empower fellow marketers to extract their own standardized insights to embed a data driven culture across the team and create bandwidth for high value analytics and insights.
- Problem-Solving & Strategic Solutioning: Deconstruct complex business challenges into actionable analytical problems, developing and implementing data-driven solutions that directly fuel user growth.
