The Yelp Emerging Accounts, Account Executive works with multi-location prospective clients to sell Yelp’s diverse advertising solutions. In this role, you'll focus on driving new business, guiding prospects through the entire sales cycle from outreach to close. Success requires experience using activity metrics to achieve ambitious sales goals. This is a high-energy, new-business-focused position that requires a strategic sales approach. The Emerging Accounts, Account Executive plays a crucial role in Yelp’s growth, with significant impact expected from this client base.

Please note that while this role is a remote position, it is required that the candidate resides within the Eastern or Central time zones of the continental US.
What you'll do:
- Prospect within a dedicated list of new business accounts that align well with Yelp's advertising solutions.
- Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
- Play a key role in mapping new client organizations and establishing relationships with multiple contacts, with a focus on engaging key decision-makers.
- Expertise in prospective clients' business objectives and challenges, and align them with Yelp’s proven advertising solutions to help achieve their goals
- Collaborate closely with new clients to develop a cohesive Local strategy utilizing Yelp’s Branding & Conversion products, Local Search campaigns and customer engagement tools
- Identify budgets within the prospective clients organization dedicated to driving in-store sales and digital conversions to support new Yelp campaigns
- Achieve a partnership with Yelp’s Client Partner teams to ensure strong client hand off experience post-sale
What it takes to succeed:
- 4 years of experience in a new business B2B sales position, selling into Mid Market, Regional and/or Multi Location businesses
- Have seen success in a solution-based sales role (Digital Advertising, Digital Media, SaaS- Preferred)
- Demonstrate knowledge in utilizing performance metrics to assess sales activities, set goals, and implement strategies that consistently meet sales targets
- Hold strong technical skills, with proficiency in relevant sales tools and CRM software
- Have a proven ability to engage and communicate effectively with C-level decision-makers, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills
- Experience managing and closing sales deals valued at $20K or more
- Become an expert in managing sales pipelines by prioritizing opportunities, analyzing trends, and driving new business
- Demonstrate coachability by seeking feedback, adapting strategies, and applying best practices to meet sales goals
- Showcase self-motivation by consistently seeking new opportunities and strategies to meet and exceed targets
- Call yourself a team player by sharing insights and fostering a positive work environment to enhance overall sales performance
- Achieve strong relationships with new clients by demonstrating the ability to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that drive sales goals

The base salary is $85,000 plus performance based incentives (uncapped commission)
