Job Title: Engineering Project Coordinator - Onsite Training and New Employee Onboarding Lead

Job Summary:

The Engineering Org is seeking a highly motivated and organized Engineering Project Coordinator to play a pivotal role in standing up and coordinating a wide array of required employee training programs at the Luling, TX site. This dynamic position requires interfacing with multiple organizations and defining/owning tasks that address immediate and long-term corporate needs. Also, the role will own engineering employee onboarding at the Luling, TX site.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in training coordination and development, resource management, and technical writing. As the team continues to grow in 2026 and beyond, this role will expand in scope, offering significant opportunities for impact and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Program Development and Coordination:
    • Stand up and manage comprehensive employee training programs ensuring all site personnel meet training needs.
    • Hold training sessions as POC for external partners and internal compliance, maintain accountability for program success.
    • Collaborate with engineering, safety, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure training programs meet site-wide requirements.
    • Travel to other company sites (e.g., New Mexico) to incorporate best practices and maintain continuity with Luling site.
    • Coordinate with environmental waste and safety personnel to ensure compliance with all regulatory and program requirements.
  • Team Task Coordination:
    • Take ownership of the engineering new-hire onboarding process.
    • Serve as a key contributor to the team's internal documentation and collaboration portal (Confluence).
    • Coordinate team member availability and assignments across programs at the Luling site.
    • Manage documentation generation and revision cycles ensuring accuracy and compliance.
    • Identify and resolve blockers raised during weekly standup meetings to maintain project momentum.
    • Act as a central point of communication for team members and stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent updates while managing expectations.
  • Technical and Administrative Support:
    • Utilize IT skills to manage training websites, pull data, and send reminders for upcoming deadlines.
    • Own processes in software platforms, including Excel, Word, Confluence, Jira, Teams, and SharePoint, to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
    • Perform both short- and long-term assignments, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and within budget.
    • Provide flexibility to address additional administrative needs as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of site operations and how to add value. Proven experience in directly managing training programs is required.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to advocate for cooperation and lead the development of new programs from the ground up.
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to establish trust and build relationships within multi-disciplinary organizations.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with team members, managers, and stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong time management and organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and project schedules effectively.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in dynamic, startup environments, demonstrating proactivity and a willingness to tackle challenges head-on.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in mechanical, industrial, or chemical industries.
  • Advanced IT skills and familiarity with training websites and data management tools.
