Position: Quality Assurance Specialist/Inspector
Location: Luling, TX
Position Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Position Overview:
As a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Specialist/Inspector, one will work closely with our quality assurance professionals to support our team with administrative, compliance, and operational tasks. This role is an on-site position, ideal for someone who is comfortable with computers, communicating with team members and suppliers, and excellent attention to detail.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Receive Certification Packages from Suppliers:
- Ensure certification packages are accurate and complete.
- Ability to communicate and question Suppliers regarding purchase requirements and ensure compliance.
- Update Systems and Databases:
- Ensure systems are maintained and kept up to date on certification packages received.
- Conduct compliance system audits to identify and address gaps.
- Instruct employees regarding Quality procedures and requirements when working with material compliance, acceptance and production.
- Develop and maintain records related to material compliance.
- Performs other related duties as assigned, such as production support/inspection of product.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent problem-solving ability.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports, documenting processes, and presenting findings.
- Comfortable working in cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain.
- Ability to collaborate with suppliers and customers.
- Familiarity with document control processes and maintaining quality records.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to find, understand, and organize documents.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure compliance.
Education and Experience:
- 4-year bachelor's degree.
- Education may be waived based on experience with 2-year associate degree.
General Requirements
Must be a U.S. Persons. Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information; having dual citizenship may preclude you from meeting this requirement.
