Job Title: Operations and Engineering

Location: Luling, TX (Onsite)

Internship Dates: 8 JUNE 2026 – 8 AUGUST 2026

Job Description: X-Bow Systems Inc. is seeking several dynamic & motivated interns to join our Operations & Engineering Internship Program for Summer 2026. This internship offers hands-on experience across manufacturing engineering, supply chain, safety engineering, business leadership, and civil engineering. Interns will work on-site to support plant operations, assist with scheduling and contractor oversight, maintain documentation, and contribute to construction preparation and permitting processes. This is an excellent opportunity to gain real-world experience while collaborating with industry professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Manufacturing Engineering:

• Assist with moving items around the plant to optimize workflows for lean manufacturing based on operational needs.
• Support plant operations by analyzing and improving manufacturing processes.

Supply Chain and Safety Engineering:

• Provide hands-on assistance with scheduling, paperwork for contractors, and schedule oversight.
• Collaborate with the plant team to ensure safety protocols are followed and operations run smoothly.

Business and Leadership:

• Maintain documentation and assist with organizing tours and tasks related to supporting on-site personnel.
• Work on leadership-related tasks to help coordinate and assist teams effectively.

Civil Engineering:

• Oversee construction preparation and coordinate with local city representatives for permitting processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and assist with project oversight.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in one of the following fields:
  • Manufacturing Engineering
  • Construction Management
  • Business Administration
  • Civil Engineering
• Strong interest in hands-on learning and real-world applications.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other relevant tools.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and supply chain processes.
• Familiarity with safety engineering practices and contractor management.
• Experience with documentation and leadership tasks.
• Understanding of construction processes and permitting requirements.
