Senior Industrial Electrician

JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Industrial Electrician will support new and existing facilities related to the manufacture of energetic material as part of a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and technicians.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment, including 480V power systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical machinery, PLCs, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
- Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics and blueprints.
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on electrical equipment and systems.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with electrical codes and company safety procedures, such as lockout/tagout and the use of PPE.
- Manage parts inventory and documentation of maintenance activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Licensed in the state of TX as an electrician.
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician, with a strong background in high-voltage systems (480V and up).
- Experience with explosion proof electrical systems, oil and gas, hazardous environments, etc.
- Knowledge of motor controls, PLCs, and VFDs.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and test equipment.
- Experience with both AC and DC systems is often beneficial.
