Product Team Lead – Maritime Facts

  • Product Management
  • TLV, Israel
  • Senior
  • Full-time

Description

We're looking for a Product Team Lead to lead our Maritime Facts product team, who owns the foundational facts layer of our maritime intelligence platform: where vessels are (positional data), what we know about them (ownership and trade data), the geographic context they operate in (GeoInt), and the fused picture that ties it all together.

You'll directly manage a team of Product Owners, each owning one of these data product domains, and your job is to make their collective work add up to more than the sum of its parts. You'll set the strategy for the group, orchestrate the roadmap across the POs, manage cross-product dependencies, and align priorities with the rest of the company. You'll also be the voice of the maritime analyst inside the team — making sure every design and prioritization decision is grounded in what real intelligence work looks like.

We're looking for someone with strong military intelligence acumen — naval, geospatial, all-source, or another flavor — who knows what it feels like to be on the receiving end of a data product, and can make sharp judgment calls about whether a feature actually helps an analyst do their job.

What you'll do

  • Directly manage and grow a team of Product Owners covering vessel positional data, ownership & trade data and GeoInt — own their performance, growth, hiring, and day-to-day support.
  • Set the product strategy and roadmap for the Maritime Facts group; orchestrate priorities across POs and manage cross-product dependencies so the group's output adds up to a coherent whole.
  • Be the analyst's advocate inside the team — guide product decisions using intelligence principles, ensuring features map to real maritime analyst workflows and decision-making.
  • Partner with engineering leadership to align technical strategy and delivery with product priorities.
  • Communicate roadmap, progress, and trade-offs to product, engineering, GTM, and company leadership; represent the Maritime Facts group in cross-functional forums.
  • Own the data-quality posture and product success metrics for the group as a whole, in addition to the individual product KPIs owned by each PO.
  • Coordinate with peer leads (Maritime Behavior, Application Platform, Maritime Intelligence) on shared dependencies, cross-cutting initiatives, and a unified analyst experience.
  • Engage with customers and intelligence end-users when needed to anchor the team's understanding in real workflows.

Requirements

Who are you?

  • 6+ years in product management, with at least 2 years managing other product managers or product owners.
  • Strong intelligence background — naval, geospatial, all-source, or similar - with hands-on experience as an analyst or in roles working closely with analysts.
  • Proven analyst empathy and design instinct: ability to make sharp product calls based on whether a feature genuinely helps an intelligence analyst, not just whether it's technically interesting.
  • Track record orchestrating roadmaps and managing dependencies across multiple product areas.
  • Experience working with data-heavy products, ideally including geospatial, positional, or fused data products.
  • People management experience — required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable representing the team to leadership and customers.
  • Maritime domain experience — strong advantage.
