About the role

As the Operations Coordinator at Wheely Middle East, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success and satisfaction of our chauffeur community, and manage office operations. You will be responsible for being the face of the company at our reception desk, acting as a liaison between Wheely and our valued chauffeurs, and assisting our Quality & Training team with quality inspections and training sessions.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in operations management and contribute to the growth of our organization. This role requires a customer-focused mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Focus

  • Manage office reception desk
  • Handle basic Chauffeur and Partner inquiries promptly, demonstrating the ability to make decisions during non-standard situations
  • Support operations team in daily administrative tasks
  • Facilitate amenity distribution among our Chauffeurs and Partners
  • Help maintain inventory and stock levels

Quality Focus

  • Maintain accurate records of quality tests, inspections, and audits. This includes recording results, documenting deviations, and tracking corrective actions
  • Analyze quality data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. This may involve using statistical methods and quality tools to interpret data and make recommendations
  • Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards, and regulations; this may include conducting internal audits and inspections to verify adherence to quality protocols
  • Provide training and guidance for the Chauffeurs on quality standards, procedures, and best practices

Requirements

  • Experience in an operational and customer-facing role, preferably within a fast-paced environment; hospitality and luxury services experience is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proven track record of delivering creative solutions
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic work environment
  • Ensuring strict adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies by paying close attention to details outlined in procedures and specifications
  • Flexibility in adjusting to changes in priorities, assignments, and work environments
  • Exceptional communication skills with a focus on clarity, structure, and ownership
  • Comfortable using basic software and tools relevant to the role (Google Suite)
  • Availability to work at in the office five days a week
