Account Payable Specialist with French (m/f/d)

Are you a detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment? In this role, you will take ownership of managing the company’s outgoing payments, ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately and on time, and building strong relationships with our French-speaking suppliers. You’ll play a key role in supporting critical financial processes while identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and drive efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Processing incoming invoices in line with company policies and within deadlines.
- Ensuring invoices are properly approved, coded, and matched with purchase orders.
- Handling payment runs and monitoring due dates to avoid late payments.
- Communicating with French-speaking suppliers and internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
- Maintaining vendor records and ensuring the accuracy of data in the system.
- Assisting with month-end closing activities, such as reconciliations and accruals.
- Supporting internal and external audits by providing requested documentation.
- Continuously identifying opportunities to improve Accounts Payable processes and workflows.
What You Need to Succeed
- Proficiency in French (B2 or higher) – both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in English, the working language of the company.
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or similar finance role.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team-oriented environment.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to meet multiple deadlines.
