We’re on a mission to unify data across Shiftmove, ensuring every business decision is driven by clear, actionable insights. As a maturing company, we’re tackling ambitious challenges in data infrastructure, governance, and cross-functional collaboration to accelerate growth and optimize operations.
As our Head of Data & AI you will design and execute our enterprise data strategy while leading a multidisciplinary team of data engineers, GTM business analysts, and data scientists. You’ll own the end-to-end delivery of key programs, optimize our data systems for scale and agility, and drive alignment across GTM, product, and finance teams.
This is a hands-on leadership role that combines program management expertise with strategic data leadership. You’ll define what success looks like for the team, streamline how we work with data, and play an important role in shaping our data-first approach for future M&A integrations and business growth.
What You’ll Do
- Define and execute our enterprise data strategy, aligning it with business goals and ensuring timely delivery of cross-functional data programs.
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of data engineers and analysts, fostering alignment across GTM, product, and engineering teams.
- Drive AI initiatives to optimize business efficiencies, streamline data unification, and improve customer and product data insights.
- Oversee data architecture, pipelines, and governance frameworks to ensure compliance (e.g., GDPR) and scalability.
- Develop frameworks and playbooks for M&A data integrations, creating repeatable structures and tools for managing complex projects.
- Be the visible leader for data strategy, ensuring prioritization and seamless communication across all levels of the organization.
What Success Looks Like
- In the first 3 months, you’ll establish clear priorities for the data team, implement a program management framework, and launch initial projects to unify product and customer data.
- By 6 months, you’ll have delivered a repeatable playbook for data unification and integration, with visible improvements in GTM data insights and alignment across teams.
- Within 12 months, you’ll have successfully integrated data systems from recent acquisitions, optimized business intelligence tools, and demonstrated measurable efficiencies in AI-driven initiatives.
Your Profile

- Strong ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders, particularly in GTM functions.
- Bonus if you’ve worked on integrating data systems during mergers or acquisitions.
