What you'll do
The role involves working with suppliers to ensure successful onboarding and enablement on the SAP Ariba Network to interact with Viasat Questionnaires, Purchase Orders, submission of Shipping Notices, Invoices, and statusing Payment. This position requires hands-on experience with SAP Ariba Supplier Enablement processes and good communication skills to collaborate effectively with both internal collaborators and suppliers.
The day-to-day
- Manages supplier enablement projects, consults on Flight Plan strategy and wave planning.
- Increase Ariba Business Network adoption for customer, supplier and SAP.
- Supplier Enablement: Helps the supplier onboarding process, including registration, configuration, training, and troubleshooting for suppliers to become fully enabled on SAP Ariba.
- Support Supplier outreach process and collection of Supplier questionnaires.
- Platform Configuration & Issue Resolution: Assist suppliers with setting up their profiles, catalogues, and other requirements on SAP Ariba. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the platform.
- Technical support to monitor and resolve supplier email and account issues related to Purchase Order transmission status.
- Supplier Communication & Support: Serve as the point of contact for suppliers during the enablement process, resolving any issues or questions regarding the Ariba platform. Works with buyer to define communication strategy, compliance policy, and Ariba Business Network configuration
- Educates buyer on Ariba Business Network functionality
- Reports on supplier enablement project status and results
- Coordinate Services for Supplier Outreach, Catalog Enablement and Supplier Integration
- Reinforce the solution compliance with Suppliers and internal department stakeholders
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor supplier enablement performance and suggest process improvements to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the enablement process.
- Manage test status and produce test report; document and prioritize all testing issues/defects encountered during testing with integrated suppliers.
- Supplier Training & Education: Conduct training sessions for suppliers to ensure they are familiar with the platform's features and functionality, ensuring a seamless experience. Successful creation of supplier training material
- Train and knowledge transfer an appropriate level of supplier enablement strategy to Procurement and AP personnel for day-to-day interactions and influence with supplers.
What you'll need
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in SAP Ariba Supplier Enablement or related roles such as procurement systems or supply chain management.
- Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba Supplier Management, Procurement, and/or Sourcing solutions.
- Organizational/team worker
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively work with suppliers and internal teams.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience working in multi-functional teams and collaborating with procurement, IT, and finance departments.
- Customer management
- High level understanding of SDLC and SOX controls
What will help you on the job
- SAP Ariba certification (Supplier Enablement, Procurement, or Sourcing modules)
- Familiarity with integrating third-party systems with SAP Ariba.
- Knowledge of data management practices.
Salary range
$83,000.00 - $131,000.00 / annually. For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $100,000.00- $150,000.00/ annually
