We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a temporary Packaging & Shipping Specialist to join our dynamic onsite team in Duluth, GA!

The Materials Team is responsible for the management of inventory process controls to ensure cost, schedule and quality goals are met in the execution of global fulfilment contractual requirements. The team supports all facets of the antenna systems business. Your responsibilities will be diverse, but you will be empowered to use your initiative and skills in a variety of tasks and problem-solving in support of our business partners in Supply Chain, Finance, Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Program Management, and Engineering Groups.


The day-to-day

As the Material Packaging and Shipping Specialist, you will be responsible for product verification for revision correctness, material packaging and inventory accuracy against the bill of material requirements. You will assess product crating and packaging needs for shipments to our customers or installation teams by meticulously validating quality control in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, productivity, and accuracy. You will assemble boxes, skids, crates or platforms used for shipping equipment and machine parts


What you'll need

  • 3 years’ experience in a shipping, material packaging, or wood working role.
  • Experience operating powered industrialized trucks (forklifts and reach lifts).
  • Ability to use mechanical impact tools, saws and drills.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Material control and physical inventory maintenance experience.
  • Prominent level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
  • High School Diploma.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.

What will help you on the job

  • Familiarity with Barcode and/or RFID equipment.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
  • Experience in SAP, Oracle or a comparable ERP inventory management tool.
  • Experience with Inventory and Manufacturing modules with projectized data.
  • Knowledge of Cycle count methods and policies.
  • Prominent level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
  • Prior experience with wood working or crating is a plus.

Salary range

$16.83 - $26.44 / hourly. For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $20.91 - $31.49/ hourly
