What you'll do

We’re looking for passionate professionals to join our Global Trade and Compliance team and connect the world to more. You’ll work in a collaborative and inclusive environment that values diverse perspectives and continuous learning, with unmatched opportunities for career growth.

In this role, you will be at the center of the import/export operations for our business, responsible for the compliance for import and export activities, ensuring we adhere to country specific regulations on tangible and intangible assets. You will also review daily compliance issues, provide the right information to our partners, with all correct authorizations in place.

This is a UK based role, but you have the opportunity to work remotely (within country) if you wish to.


The day-to-day

  • Interpret International Trade Regulations and apply them as necessary.
  • Ensure accurate use of export authorizations (licenses/agreements, exemptions, exceptions, etc.).
  • Determine and document classification designation for parts, equipment, and technology.
  • Maintain knowledge of and stay scurrent on regulatory changes that impact Global Trade Compliance and Import/Export.
  • Review contracts for global trade requirements.
  • Solid understanding of required documentation such as commercial invoices, shipper’s letters of instructions (SLI), carnets, and EEI filings.

What you'll need

  • Proven experience in regulatory trade compliance. We estimate this to be around 3 years, but we encourage you to apply nonetheless if you see a match with this role.
  • Must have sole British Nationality (due to UK eyes-only projects), and have, or be capable of obtaining, UK security clearance (SC).
  • Strong proficiency in at least UK export control regulations. Experience with EU, US, Swiss regulations is an advantage.
  • Proficient in product classification.
  • Experience with SPIRE and GTM systems.
