What you'll do
The Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement team is a data driven group of passionate LEAN Six Sigma Black Belts that work to target some of Operations greatest challenges. Candidates will deploy the continuous improvement methodologies (A3, 8D, DMAIC, etc) to lead operations into the next age of operational excellence through targeted projects.
Working on the Continuous Improvement team, you will impact internal and external customers. Whether it is reducing the cost of goods sold or improving on time delivery, the implication of an Continuous Improvement project can enable long term success of a business area or simply makes coworkers day-day role easier.
This individual will work closely with team members from the Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Data Science and other Ops functions on highly cross functional processes.
The day-to-day
- Leading Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen events
- Designing and implementing visual management and 5S
- Creating Discrete Event Simulations to assess value stream capacity and provide program insight into primary drivers for potential improvement
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering or a related field
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Fundamental statistics knowledge
- Experience applying the DMAIC or other problem solving method
- Self starter, inquisitive and eager to learn
- LEAN and Six Sigma certification preferred

Salary range
$19 - $70 / hourly
