From changing a single person’s daily commute to reducing humanity’s collective environmental footprint — we’ve got huge goals</span> </p> <p> <span style="font-weight:400;">As a <strong>Maps Support Specialist</strong> at Via you will be part of our mapping team, and take an active part in maintaining maps for all Via's territories.</span> </p> <p> <strong>What You'll Do:</strong> </p> <ul> <li><span style="font-weight:400;">Provide an improved map by validating map transportation features.</span></li> <li><span style="font-weight:400;">Maintain maps data as a part of mapping team efforts</span></li> <li><span style="font-weight:400;">Help in the process of scaling up.</span></li> <li><span style="font-weight:400;">2 days a week availability - MUST</span></li> <li>Work closely with Via's Algo researchers and developers.</li> </ul> <p> <strong>Who You Are:</strong> </p> <ul> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">You have a strong passion for maps and learning about new locations.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">MA or a 3rd year student in Geography, Environmental Studies, Earth sciences.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Good technical skills, going into details, map oriented.</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Knowledge of Cartography or GIS systems is a plus</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Super responsible, independent and capable of taking ownership of issues from end to end</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Excellent verbal and writing skills (English and Hebrew)</span></li> <li style="font-weight:400;"><span style="font-weight:400;">Availability of at least 3 days a week</span></li> </ul> <p>We’re Via, and we build technology that changes the way the world moves.
