As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll work hands-on with advanced automotive and teleoperation technology in a role that blends classic mechanical skill with modern systems diagnostics. You’ll collaborate directly with engineering, operations, and external partners to ensure our fleet stays safe, reliable, and ready to roll, every day. What you’ll be driving:
- Perform ordinary and extraordinary maintenance on ROVs and telestations, ensuring they’re always road-ready and fully operational
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues using OEM systems and diagnostic tools
- Collaborate with engineering and integration teams to implement hardware updates and solutions
- Maintain detailed records of service and repair activities, supporting continuous improvement
- Manage coordination with external repair partners, ensuring high-quality service delivery
- Keep the workshop safe, clean, and organized while supporting inventory and part ordering processes
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for each vehicle and ensure compliance with industry safety and quality standards
What are we looking for:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a vehicle technician with deep mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Strong knowledge of tools, methods, and materials used in vehicle repair and maintenance
- High-level experience with HV systems, hybrid drivetrains, HVAC, cooling, chassis, suspension, and CAN/LIN systems
- Comfort working in and troubleshooting Linux-based systems and embedded modules
- Diagnostic experience with self-driving tech and sensor stacks is a big plus
- Technical trade school certificate or Associate Degree in automotive repair
- ASE and/or OEM manufacturer certifications are a plus
- Self-motivated, reliable, and flexible, willing to work holidays and overtime when needed
