Vast is looking for an Sourcing Coordinator, reporting to SVP of Supply Chain & Quality, to support the development of the systems that will be required for the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations. This will be a full-time, non-exempt position located in our Long Beach location.
Responsibilities:
- Support Vast Supplier management including tasks such as onboarding, performance monitoring, compliance verification, and relationship management, requiring dedicated oversight.
- Assist with consistent communication, contract follow-ups, and resolution of supply chain issues.
- Ensures procurement activities adhere to policies, reducing organizational and supply chain risk. Activities include Supplier due diligence and documentation tracking now demand sustained focus to maintain audit-readiness and regulatory compliance.
- Tackle high volume data entry and data migration. Manage and drive supplier issue ticket resolution, RMA processing and billing/AP discrepancies
- Enable Sourcing team to focus on high-value tasks such as negotiations and sourcing strategies, while managing day-to-day operational procurement.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Business or Engineering or Business-related field.

- Remarkable problem-solving skills with a bias for speed.
- Quick learner and ability to prioritize appropriately to meet customer and company needs.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to travel when needed
- Willingness to work overtime, or weekends to support critical mission milestones
