At UNIVITY we believe that everyone on Earth should have access to internet connectivity and we are on a mission to empower telecom operators to deliver high-performance, affordable, sustainable internet from space to their clients where terrestrial networks are not available.

We successfully launched our first mission in 2025. We are now on our way for our next major milestone: an in-orbit demonstration in 2027, where two complete satellites will be deployed to further validate the system end-to-end. The following step will be to deploy our full constellation of disruptive satellites, enabling telecom operators to provide seamless connectivity worldwide.

Our project is rapidly ramping up, and we are looking to expand our team with passionate individuals who share our vision.

UNIVITY is looking for a Business Development Manager to join the team in Paris office, reporting to the Head of Commercial.

As Business Development Manager, you play a key role in identifying new opportunities, building relationships with telecom stakeholders, and supporting the execution of commitment deals. Given the nature of the satellite constellation UNIVITY will deploy, this role involves significant international exposure and engagement.

Your key responsibilities and tasks:
Business Development & Pipeline Growth
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities with telecom operators, wholesales and connectivity partners,
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and partners across target markets and geographic regions,
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
Commercial Execution
• Support the development and the execution of commercial strategies for B2B telecom segments,
• Drive deal origination and prepare commercial proposals, business cases, PoC set-up,
• Participate in client meetings and support the conversion of opportunities into signed commitments.
Representation & Industry Engagement
• Represent UNIVITY at international conferences, trade shows, and industry events (telecom, satellite, connectivity).
• Participate in workshops and working sessions with partners across global markets.
• Engage with government and institutional entities abroad, regulators, and ecosystem stakeholders.
Cross-functional Collaboration
• Work closely with the internal teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing),
• Gather market feedback and contribute to product, services and go-to-market improvements.

Profile required

Skills and experience
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in Business development, B2B sales, within the telecom / satcom industry.
• Commercial mindset and experience working with international clients or markets.
• Understanding of telecom, satellite and infrastructure ecosystems (MNO, roaming, wholesale, spectrum).
• Ability to engage with senior propects (including C-level).
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills (written & verbal).

International Exposure
• Exposure to Asia, Americas and/or Africa markets is a strong plus,
• Experience working across cultures and time zones.
• Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.
