Your Role: What you'll be doing

United Launch Alliance (ULA) seeks a Subcontract Compliance Specialist to support the Supply Chain Governance and Systems organization at ULA Corporate Headquarters in Centennial, CO, as the primary Purchasing Card (P-card) Process and System Administrator, with secondary roles supporting Supplier Administration and data and systems integrity.

  • The Subcontract Compliance Specialist-1 interprets statutory, regulatory, prime contract, policy, business, and procedural requirements for the Supply Chain as it pertains to the P-card program.
  • Establishes, implements, and maintains Supply Chain P-card Program policies and procedures to ensure that they comply with appropriate statutes, regulations, and ULA business imperatives and that regulatory reporting requirements are met.
  • Investigates, communicates, and resolve associated P-card compliance problems, questions, or complaints from other functions, customers, government regulatory agencies, etc.
  • Develop in-house programs, tools, and practices to identify associated development needs. Designs and delivers effective programs to train impacted personnel as applicable. Interfaces with members across Supply Chain and other cross-functional organizations.
  • Supports internal and external audits for Supply Chain Procurement matters about the P-card Program. Effectively communicates areas of risk to leadership.
  • The Subcontract Compliance Specialist-1 will also perform various activities in support of Supply Chain Supplier Administration and data and systems integrity.
  • Supports primary Supplier Administrator in processing requests to support timely procurement authorization and data processing needs.
  • Gathers, collects, records, tracks, verifies, and reports data and information from and to multiple sources.
  • Compiles, reviews, and analyzes data. Uses software for Supply Chain to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence, and presentations. May design processes to enhance workflow. Provides data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures.

Requires a bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years of experience.

  • Must possess effective teamwork and organizational skills
  • Must be proficient with MS Office, specifically Excel/Word skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to establish and nurture beneficial relationships
  • Must be analytical and detail-oriented
  • Must be a self-starter who can effectively manage and prioritize multiple priorities and initiatives

Summary Salary Range (Colorado Only)

$52,069 - $81,294

Please note that the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon a candidate’s experience and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in addition to base pay.

Additionally, most salaried ULA team members work a “9/80 schedule,” meaning they enjoy every other Friday off.
