About the Role
Uber is transforming the future of Grocery & Retail by building one of the world’s most efficient on-demand marketplaces for local commerce. As part of our Global Operations team, you’ll play an important role in delivering a high-quality experience for merchants on our platform—supporting their growth while helping create great experiences for customers.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with local operations and commercial teams around the world, as well as Grocery & Retail leadership and product teams. You’ll lead impactful projects focused on improving merchant experiences, optimizing systems, and strengthening the processes and programs that power our platform.
This is a dynamic role that blends analytical thinking, strategy, and collaboration. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable working in fast-changing environments, values teamwork, and uses data to guide thoughtful, practical decisions.
What You’ll Do
- Champion the merchant experience: Improve Uber’s data solutions to better support merchants and enhance the value we deliver
- Lead complex analyses: Conduct deep dives and root cause analyses across multiple data sources and teams to strengthen platform performance
- Drive strategy and insights: Turn analysis into clear, actionable recommendations and communicate them effectively to partners and leadership
- Manage impactful projects: Plan and deliver initiatives that improve merchant engagement, efficiency, and satisfaction
- Collaborate across teams:Partner with operations, product, legal, commercial, and leadership teams to align priorities and achieve shared goals
- Support product launches: Help execute product rollouts, especially those related to financial flows in Grocery &
- Retail, including testing, approvals, and post-launch support
- Focus on continuous improvement: Track performance and iterate on products and processes to create smoother merchant experiences over time
What You'll Need
Basic Qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience in business operations, analytics, or a related role
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into insights and action
- Experience addressing complex, cross-functional challenges with a focus on scalability and efficiency
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Excel or Google Sheets
- Clear and effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Experience with reporting and invoicing tools

- Experience in the grocery and/or retail industry
