Rate of Pay: $388,918 to $466,702 per year

Duties: Collaborate with various program and platform teams to develop technical roadmaps for engineering initiatives. Identify project scope and requirements while ensuring teams have appropriate resources. Develop, plan, and execute various projects across company platforms. Mentor new team members on both technical and organizational challenges while providing technical expertise for various projects. Assist in establishing team goals and direction. Help lead recruiting and interview activities. Ensure projects are completed on schedule and readily identifies issues to higher stakeholders. Work cross- functionally across the organization to optimize software and find creative solutions for customer issues. Monitor performance of team. Supervise at least 1 Software Engineer / 15-1252; Software Developers. May telecommute.
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), Information Technology, Information Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field, followed by seven years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
Position requires seven years in:
- Programming language concepts: C++, Python, or Java;
- Source Control system: GIT or SVN;
- Relational database concepts: SQL or MySQL;
- Data structures and algorithms development and functionality;
- Debugging and monitoring for production services;
- Designing technology stacks;
- Distributed system: Service Oriented Architecture;
- Full-stack software development;
- Backend and front-end engineering;
- Unix/Linux scripting;
- Distributed messaging systems: Kafka;
- Operating systems concepts: Networking and Multi-threading.
