About the Role

The Merchant Commercial team is looking for an individual who can develop a deep understanding of internal operational processes while maintaining strong empathy for restaurant partners throughout their onboarding journey. The Onboarding Specialist will be responsible for managing onboarding operations end to end, including administrative tasks, issue resolution, and escalations that impact merchant activation.

To succeed in this role, you will be highly customer-focused and equally comfortable operating in a data-driven, process-oriented environment. This includes resolving daily escalations, identifying and solving operational problems, continuously improving onboarding processes, monitoring the onboarding funnel and key performance metrics, and working cross-functionally with merchants, Commercial teams, and Sales to drive timely, high-quality activation at scale.

What you'll do

  • Resolve daily escalations working directly with Merchants and Sales teams to ensure merchants are set up for success on the platform
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve bottlenecks within our processes
  • Monitor the onboarding funnel to ensure SLAs & KPIs are met
  • Develop and update processes and logic used by our offshore onboarding team and our Sales teams

What you'll have

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Written and spoken proficiency in English
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and make informed decisions
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple operational tasks, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace, with particular strength in Excel / Google Sheets for tracking, analysis, and reporting
  • Ability to work independently in an execution-heavy, operational environment and take ownership of outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Written and spoken proficiency in Swedish and/or Danish
  • Experience in operations, onboarding, business operations, analytics, or process-driven support roles
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze workflows, identify bottlenecks, and drive process improvements at scale
  • Experience monitoring operational metrics, SLAs, or KPIs and using them to prioritize work
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM and operational tools
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners (e.g., Sales, Operations, Support) to resolve issues and improve processes
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with comfort making trade-offs in fast-paced environments
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to balance merchant experience with operational efficiency
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and evolving processes while maintaining structure and accountability
