As a Senior Strategy & Operations Manager, Product & Experience, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing our local merchandising and consumer experience strategy. You will partner closely with global, regional, and local cross-functional teams including Consumer Operations, Commercial, Product, Marketing, and Engineering to deliver a seamless, inspiring, and high-performing shopping experience.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly analytical, structured in planning and execution, and exceptional at project and stakeholder management. You should be comfortable operating at both strategic and executional levels and energized by building and scaling new capabilities in a fast-moving environment.
What You Will Do
Strategy & Merchandising Leadership
• Define and scale the local merchandising strategy for Taiwan, acting as the thought leader for how offerings are showcased in-app
• Lead Retail Moments and Everyday Missions strategies to drive user habituation and position Uber Eats as a go-to destination
• Build and execute an end-to-end gifting strategy, championing Gifting as a key delivery growth bet through improved discovery and experience
• Leverage the broader Uber and Uber Eats ecosystem, including platform surfaces, demand signals, and cross-line-of-business capabilities, to design scalable consumer use cases
• Ensure balanced Grocery & Retail presence by optimizing visibility, placements, and pathways relative to the core restaurant experience
Product Operations & Tech Enablement
• Optimize the end-to-end user journey by partnering with Global Product, Consumer Ops, and Storefront pods to influence roadmaps and advocate for Taiwan-specific needs
• Build and maintain unified retail taxonomies and conduct regular catalog audits to ensure data hygiene, accuracy, and searchability
• Act as the bridge between commercial needs and technical execution, ensuring new product features are successfully launched and adopted in the Taiwan market
Campaign Execution & Calendar Management
• Drive end-to-end execution of in-app and out-of-app merchandising, including creation, QA, testing, and optimization of curated collections, landing pages, and vertical feeds
• Own visual excellence across the marketplace, ensuring high-quality presentation that drives engagement and conversion
Data-Driven Optimization
• Monitor merchandising performance, conversion metrics, and ROI; regularly report on platform health with clear insights and recommendations
• Run competitive audits and leverage consumer insights to continuously refine merchandising and content optimization best practices, including timing, placement, and use cases
Basic Qualifications
• 5–7+ years of experience in Strategy & Operations, Digital Merchandising, E-commerce, or Product Operations
• Ability to blend creative intuition (design, copy, user experience) with analytical rigor and data-driven decision making
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
• Strong organization, planning, and project management capabilities
• Proficiency with Google Workspace tools
• English fluency (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Bachelor’s degree required
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in Retail, Grocery, or a fast-paced technology environment
• SQL proficiency
• MBA
