About the Role

Our team is dedicated to optimizing and expanding Uber’s payment acceptance portfolio, focusing on alternative payment methods (APMs), cash acceptance solutions, and innovative new payment use cases. We drive projects that range from launching new payment methods, to enabling Uber to capitalize on new opportunities via new payments use cases, to optimizing existing cash networks. This role offers the opportunity to significantly influence our global payment strategy, directly impacting customer accessibility and business growth worldwide.

What you'll do:

  1. Lead the end-to-end development, execution, and measurement of global programs related to alternative payment methods, cash acceptance, and new payment use cases.
  2. Define program scope, objectives, and key results (OKRs) in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
  3. Manage program timelines and resources, ensuring on-time delivery.
  4. Identify and mitigate program risks, proactively addressing challenges and adapting plans as needed.
  5. Collaborate closely with Product, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and regional/local Ops teams to ensure alignment and successful program implementation.
  6. Develop and implement reporting mechanisms to track program progress, performance, and business impact.
  7. Stay informed of industry trends and emerging payment technologies to identify new opportunities and inform strategic planning.
  8. Drive continuous improvement by analyzing program results and implementing lessons learned.

Basic Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in program management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex global programs.
  3. Familiarity with payment ecosystems, including alternative payment methods, cash payments, and payment processing.
  4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  5. Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders across different regions.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  7. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Master's degree or MBA.
  2. Experience in the e-commerce or fintech industry.
  3. CAPM certification
  4. PMP certification
