About the Role
As a Consumer Growth Manager within Uber’s Grocery & Retail EMEA Central Operations team, you'll take the lead on driving user acquisition, engagement, and retention across a diverse set of markets. Your mission: deliver a seamless, high-impact customer journey that delights users and supports scalable growth.
You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Global Consumer Growth, Product Ops, and local EMEA market teams to build and execute strategies that fuel our customer funnel—whether it's optimizing performance campaigns, driving user awareness for new merchant launches, or developing localized market playbooks.

What the Candidate Will Do
- Scale and Optimize Processes: Develop and refine both new and existing operational processes to streamline execution and support sustainable business growth
- Drive Cost-Effective Growth: Own and allocate promotional budgets strategically to deliver efficient, data-driven user acquisition and retention campaigns
- Lead Multi-Channel Campaigns: Plan, execute, and optimize user acquisition strategies across paid and organic channels, guided by deep analysis and experimentation
- Design Localized Market Strategies: Build go-to-market playbooks tailored to specific EMEA markets, accounting for regulatory frameworks, cultural nuances, and behavioral insights
- Secure Third-Party Funding: Craft compelling business cases and performance reports to unlock additional investment from strategic partners
- Launch High-Impact Merchant Campaigns: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive awareness and engagement for new merchant partnerships through well-orchestrated GTM initiatives
What You Will Need
- Stakeholder Management: Proven experience collaborating with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to align strategies and drive execution.
- Growth Hacking Mindset: Ability to identify, test, and scale high-leverage growth levers with a keen eye for data and user behavior.
- Executional Excellence: Comfortable operating in high-velocity environments, delivering initiatives from 0 to 1 with speed and precision.
- Detail Orientation: High standards for quality and accuracy in everything you do, from campaign operations to performance reporting.
- Project Leadership: Experience managing complex initiatives across geographies and functions with a structured and methodical approach.
- Fluency in English: Exceptional communication skills to navigate a global organization.
Bonus Points
- 3+ years of experience in consumer growth, operations, or strategy roles—ideally within tech, marketplaces, or high-growth environments
- Hands-on experience with performance marketing or CRM tools
- Experience in EMEA markets or with international operations
- Prior work with budget ownership or vendor/partner co-investment strategies
