About the Role

As a Demand Generation Team Lead (ads and offers) within the Restaurant vertical, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and business impact for our merchant partners by leading a team of experienced Account Executives and Account Managers focused on advanced demand generation and performance marketing activities. Your team will collaborate closely with Uber Eats Commercial Teams to identify, develop, pitch, and implement ads & offers solutions that meet merchant objectives, and drive the adoption of an expanding suite of ad offerings across our Mobility and Delivery platforms.

As the Team Lead, you’ll be responsible for both the growth of your team’s book of business and the growth and development of your team. Successful candidates will understand Uber marketplace dynamics and be able to navigate and nurture complex internal and external partnerships to deliver meaningful results, while consistently holding themselves and their team accountable to Uber’s core values.

What You'll Do

Book of Business Strategy:

  • In partnership with internal Uber Eats Commercial Team, Team Lead will develop and implement the strategy that enables sellers to exceed revenue targets and drive quota attainment across the full Uber Demand Generation product suite
  • Use data and insights from merchants, Uber, and 3P sources to build the strategy and identify areas of opportunity

Team Growth and Development:

  • Lead and mentor world class sales and account management professionals
  • Partner with L&D to ensure team has appropriate enablement materials and has confidence in their ability to pitch and objection handle
  • Hold team accountable to Uber’s values, Commercial Competencies, and expectations of a world class sales organization

Internal Collaboration:

  • Demonstrate full understanding of your book of business beyond ads/offers (account strategy, blockers, health of the business, etc) by connecting regularly with Uber Eats Commercial Leadership
  • Work with business, product, and eng teams to provide feedback on product features and improvements based on customer needs (VOC), and use your experience and internal relationships to resolve challenges and blockers for your team
  • Partner with Ads Marketing to refine sales collateral and narrative, ensuring your team has the materials and support to exceed targets

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a sales role (preferably ads or related field)
  • Proven track record of managing multiple accounts throughout the sales cycle (acquisition to growth and retention)
  • Understanding of ads / media terminology

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior management experience
  • Experience with sales enablement and business health systems (Salesforce, Gong, Tableau, etc), and ability to hold themselves and team accountable to inputs
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and set an example for a team (even if in unofficial leadership capacity)
  • Proven ability to develop and nurture relationships internally and externally

For Canada-based roles: The base salary range for this role is CAD$131,000 per year - CAD$145,500 per year.
