About The Role
Uber is looking for a Senior Process Optimization Specialist to expand its Team in Krakow.
The Krakow Center of Excellence is taking a new highway to become a major Technology Hub in Central & Eastern Europe, focusing on Process Optimization, Data Analytics & Automation!
You will work on sophisticated business processes that are crucial to keep the Uber operations in good functioning order.
You will ensure your actions are run properly and on time, meeting the expectations in terms of quality and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), by following the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
While performing these processes, you will identify areas of improvement, conduct root-cause analyses, build data-driven strategies and implement your improvements iteratively and incrementally.
You will also take part in designing new processes and analyze their execution on small cohorts before scale up. Accordingly, you will prepare brand-new SOPs and ensure they are kept up to date.

What will you do?
- Participate in the design of new business processes
- Write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and keep them updated
- Perform complex processes and work on their continuous optimization
- Write queries and scripts to reduce execution time and guide other team members
- Own end-to-end project plan and suggest improvements for the entire portfolio
- Improve technical skills continuously to match evolving business needs
- Work on business critical processes in coordination with Stakeholders and Team Members
- Good knowledge in: Google Sheets (reporting & trend analysis), SQL and Google Script
- Proven track record in: operational excellence and continuous optimization;performing multiple business processes in accordance with SOPs; creating flows (ex.: Lucidchart)
- Practical experience in performing and optimizing large scale processes (mega-region); faculty to provide guidance on project designs and continuous improvements
- Ability to work on your own initiative independently (proactive) or in Group (excellent teammate)
- Strong Analytical Skills, Critical Thinking, Business Acumen
- Excellent written and spoken English (proficient)
