About The RoleThe New Verticals Account Manager will drive business growth and innovation by handling a critical portfolio of retailers. The ideal candidate will be able to build processes and scale efforts to achieve an expansion of the merchant's business at Uber.A successful Customer Success Manager deeply understands our partners and builds positive relationships with decision-makers influencing them throughout the organization. Also optimally identifies and exploits opportunities to improve core business metrics. What You'll Do
  • Develop the topline (orders, clients, revenue) and operations of your portfolio of merchants
  • Build long-term relationships with the retailers, ultimately improving their financials, marketing efforts, engagement, and satisfaction
  • Be a key influence in their delivery business and will provide strategic recommendations based on your knowledge of the industry, data analysis, and expertise
  • Support your portfolio of clients with day-to-day tasks as well as long-term plans
  • Act as an ambassador of Uber Eats' mission, brand, and product!
What You’ll Need
  • Curiosity about demand delivery and retail
  • English working proficiency and Spanish native proficiency
  • At least, 3 years experience in an account management role incl experience in relationship management
  • Willingness to get into the weeds (no matter how deep) and push through despite difficulties
  • Customer-centric, proactivity, and willing to build positive and lasting relationships with our partners and help them reach their potential on Uber
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to persuasively communicate recommendations and influence stakeholders
  • Analytical skills: Ability to analyze data (experience with excel is needed and SQL a plus) and derive conclusions from it to provide recommendations to partners
  • Ability to develop strategies and execute initiatives.
  • Good attention to detail to become a trusted business partner for the merchants using the Uber Eats app
  • Experience running processes at scale and project managing
  • The position is based on our Uber Spain HQ in Madrid
