About The RoleUber is seeking a Senior Treasury Manager to join our Treasury Team. This role will report to the Treasurer. In this position, you will lead our Global Cash Management activities and play a critical role in evaluating and designing Uber’s global banking infrastructure to ensure we have efficient global liquidity, and optimizing cash balances! What You'll Do
  • Oversee, develop and lead a team of professionals responsible for global treasury operations and cash management including, but not limited to daily cash & liquidity management, banking operations, short term cash forecasting, letters of credit and other treasury related payments
  • Partner with other Treasury verticals to develop longer term strategy. Also partner with FinTech, FinOps, Accounting, Tax, Compliance & Reporting, Intercompany, StratFin, Payments, Legal, Corporate Development and other relevant cross-functional partners
  • Implement solutions and emerging technology to optimize banking infrastructure to support rapidly evolving business requirements
  • Coordinate all intercompany cash movements, working closely with Legal, Tax, and Accounting to optimize cash balances
  • Manage offshore resources, activities, and relationships, identify new opportunities to optimize and improve treasury operations
  • Ensure that all accounting, financial reporting, audit, and SOX deliverables are met on time
  • Support the CAO and Finance team with ad hoc requests to meet business needs
Basic Qualifications
  • 8+ years of professional experience in Treasury and/or related area
  • BA/BS
Preferred Qualifications
  • CTP, CFA or MBA is a plus
  • Public company experience in a large multi-national preferred
  • Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and financial analysis
  • Prior managerial experience
  • Experience with Treasury systems
