Growth Marketing Manager
Turo
About the team
We’re seeking a self-starting, creative and data-driven individual to be Growth Marketing Manager (Demand) for Turo Australia. This role is responsible for growing bookings and gross booking value (GBV) in Australia, executing across various paid and earned channels to hit KPIs and improve efficiency. This includes (but is not limited to) directly managing Paid Social, Online Travel Aggregators (OTAs), Affiliates and CRM, as well as collaborating with our contractors and global SEM, SEO & CRM teams to reach our goals.
The ideal candidate loves experimentation, data analysis, and has a keen eye for creative execution. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a data-driven marketer to dig in and drive real impact from day one.
The Growth Marketing Manager (Demand) role is a full-time position reporting to our Senior Manager, Marketing (Australia).
What you’ll do
Plan, develop and execute paid acquisition campaigns: You will strategically plan and assist in executing paid user acquisition campaigns across a diverse channel portfolio including paid social and OTA channels. This will require you to be hands-on daily – exploring new growth opportunities, briefing new creatives, managing and fine-tuning campaigns, running landing page experiments, testing optimal bidding strategies and optimising performance to meet KPIs (i.e. GBV growth, ROAS etc.).
Manage our monthly capital allocation process: In collaboration with leadership, you will support our monthly forecasting and capital allocation process to determine the most efficient allocation of resources across channels.
Increase bookings through earned channels: You’ll craft and oversee seasonal/ad-hoc communications and promotions to engage, nurture and convert our guests at key moments of the year and drive to defined business outcomes.
Partner with internal/external and global cross-functional teams, including SEM, SEO, CRM, Product & Data + external agencies to execute acquisition plans.
Analyse and report results: You’ll extract and interpret data to monitor and measure the effectiveness of your campaigns, making data-driven decisions and regularly reporting on KPIs to optimise your work and inform your strategy. You’ll also regularly prepare for weekly, monthly and half-yearly business reviews, acting as the expert of guest marketing in Australia.
Manage multiple work streams and priorities: You’ll work under pressure to deadlines, own decisions, manage big budgets and communicate clearly at every level through the business.
Your profile
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (business/marketing)
At least 4+ years of technical user acquisition experience, ideally for an early-stage tech company
Analytical mindset with strategic orientation being comfortable with building frameworks, not just reports
Ability to write SQL and HTML

Natural curiosity, high level of attention to detail, and will to make an impact
Excellent communication and presentation skills
