Turo's airport segment is a significant and rapidly growing part of our global business, connecting our vibrant community of hosts and guests with convenient and unique transportation options where they need them most. As the Director, Head of Airport Growth, Strategy, Operations & Partnerships, you will be the end-to-end owner of this critical business segment. You will lead our existing, high-performing airport permit partnerships team while simultaneously defining and executing the strategy to accelerate growth within the airport ecosystem globally.

This highly visible leadership role demands a strategic thinker with a bias for action, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of marketplace dynamics. You will be instrumental in identifying new opportunities, scaling existing partnerships, and driving operational excellence, all in close collaboration with our Product, Marketing, Analytics, and Finance teams to unlock the full potential of Turo's airport business. This role reports directly to the SVP of Turo US.

  • Business Development & Partnerships: Identify, prioritize, and pursue new airport partnership opportunities globally. Negotiate complex, multi-faceted agreements with airport authorities and other key stakeholders, ensuring terms are conducive to growing Turo's business.

  • Growth Driver: Drive significant growth in Turo's airport segment by identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities, optimizing existing partnerships, and collaborating cross-functionally.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with:

    • Product: Influence the roadmap for airport-specific features, user experience improvements, and tools to enhance host and guest experiences at airports.

    • Marketing: Collaborate on targeted campaigns and initiatives to drive awareness and adoption of Turo at airports.

    • Analytics: Leverage data and insights to identify trends, measure performance, and inform strategic decisions for the airport business.

    • Finance: Manage the P&L for the airport segment, including budgeting, forecasting, and optimizing revenue and cost structures.

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the operational aspects of our airport business, ensuring compliance with regulations, streamlined processes, and a seamless experience for our community. Lead mitigation efforts against operational and institutional threats impacting Turo's unfettered access and growth at airports.

  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key airport stakeholders, industry associations, and regulatory bodies.

  • Industry Representation: Act as a key spokesperson and representative for Turo at industry conferences, events, and in discussions with external partners, articulating Turo's value proposition within the ground transportation landscape.
