About the team
The People Operations Analyst is a key contributor within the People Operations team, leveraging deep technical Workday expertise and strong data analysis skills to drive efficiency, compliance, and an exceptional employee experience. This role involves designing and optimizing end-to-end HR processes, conducting in-depth data analysis to identify trends and insights, developing and delivering user training for people systems, and providing crucial support for HR programs and audits. The Analyst will utilize their progressive HR experience and analytical capabilities to develop data-driven solutions, implement process improvements, and ensure data integrity. This position plays a vital role in developing and expanding People Ops service delivery, optimizing systems and tools, and creating efficient, world-class People Operations.
What you will do
Data Management and Analytics:
Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, engagement, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations
Conduct in-depth analysis of workforce, benefits, and performance data to identify trends, insights, and potential areas for improvement
Prepares reports of data and analyzes the results, presenting and explaining findings to senior leadership
Collects and compiles HR metrics and develops dashboards from a variety of sources, including the global HRIS (Workday) and ancillary systems
Prepares standard and custom reports related to benefits, compensation, compliance, payroll, etc.
Performs audits on data entry to ensure data integrity and quality
Systems and Process Optimization:
Provide support for system integrations and data migrations
Conduct system testing for updates and new implementations; troubleshoot system issues and escalate as necessary
Develop and deliver training programs for end-users on systems and processes
Maintain and update the internal People Operations support center guides and articles, and proactively communicate relevant information to employees
Provides backup support to the People Operations Shared Services team as needed, ensuring continuity of service delivery.
Design, optimize, and document end-to-end People Operations processes to ensure compliance, efficiency, and a positive employee experience
Identify, recommend, and assist with systems and process improvements
Program Support and Compliance:
Support the total rewards programs with analyst work
Prepare and distribute quarterly stock reports as required
May guide and/or assist with performance, benefits, and compensation planning programs
May conduct or assist with conducting classification audits to ensure that jobs are properly classified as exempt or nonexempt
Support the People Ops team and cross-functional partners with ad-hoc reporting, projects & presentations, as needed
Assists in filing compliance reports with the state and federal government, including, but not limited to, annual EEO-1 report
Your profile
5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on HRIS administration, data analysis, and process improvement
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Workday HCM, including custom reporting, testing, and business process mapping. Experience with Workday Absence, Benefits, or People Analytics is a plus.
Proven experience in conducting data analysis, identifying trends, and developing actionable insights
Demonstrated ability to design and optimize HR processes to improve efficiency and employee experience
Experience with HR compliance and audit support
Bonus if you have
Experience with project management and implementing HR technology solutions is preferred. PMI or Six Sigma certification preferred
PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus
For this role, the target base salary range in Phoenix is $85,000 - $95,000 annually. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits. In general, our ranges reflect the market-based target for new hire salaries based on the level and location of the role. Within the range, individual pay is determined by objective factors assessed during the application and interview process, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
