Base salary will vary depending on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, business needs, and market demand. Salary is just one component of our comprehensive compensation package. Turion Space is building the autonomous infrastructure required to operate, protect, and sustain the in-space economy. From on-orbit inspection and debris removal to autonomous spacecraft operations powered by Starfire OS, Turion’s growth depends on disciplined capital planning, clear financial insight, and strong executive decision support.
As Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in shaping how Turion allocates capital, evaluates strategic opportunities, and communicates financial performance to leadership, investors, and partners. Your work will directly support the CEO, CFO, and executive team as Turion scales complex spacecraft programs and long-term initiatives.
Responsibilities
Support the CEO and CFO on capital strategy, corporate finance initiatives, and long-range planning.
Build and maintain strategic financial models to support scenario analysis, capital planning, pricing decisions, and major investments.
Prepare board materials, investor presentations, and executive-level analyses.
Conduct financial and strategic analyses to inform decisions across programs, partnerships, and growth initiatives.
Support investor relations and fundraising activities, including diligence materials, data analysis, and financial narratives.
Collaborate with government partners and customers on financial analysis, reporting, and planning as required.
Partner with cross-functional teams to translate strategic and operational objectives into financial insights.
Contribute to periodic performance reviews and reporting with a focus on executive decision support.
Support special projects and ad hoc analyses tied to corporate strategy and leadership priorities.
Improve financial tools, models, processes, and data quality as the company scales.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in finance, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or similar analytical roles.
Strong financial modeling skills in Excel or Google Sheets, including scenario and sensitivity analysis.
Solid understanding of corporate finance fundamentals and financial statements.
Ability to synthesize complex analyses into clear, executive-ready recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting fundraising, M&A, or corporate development initiatives.
Exposure to aerospace, government contracting, manufacturing, or other technically complex environments.
Comfort working directly with senior executives and preparing materials for boards or investors.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with executive presence.
Self-starter mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Interest in or passion for space, aerospace, or frontier technologies.
Senior Financial Analyst: $118,000 – $167,000 USD
