As a Technical Recruiter at Turion Space, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and hiring top-tier engineers and technical professionals. You will partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, develop recruitment strategies, and ensure a seamless candidate experience. Your role will be critical in shaping our rapidly growing team as we continue to innovate in the aerospace sector.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates.
Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify top technical talent in aerospace, software, and related fields.
Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements, create compelling job descriptions, and streamline hiring processes.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of passive and active candidates for current and future hiring needs.
Utilize various recruitment tools, including LinkedIn, job boards, networking events, and referrals, to attract top talent.
Conduct initial candidate assessments, including resume screening and preliminary interviews, to evaluate technical qualifications and cultural fit.
Ensure an exceptional candidate experience by maintaining clear communication and providing timely feedback throughout the hiring process.
Stay up to date on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and best practices in technical recruitment.
Represent Turion Space at career fairs, networking events, and industry conferences to enhance employer branding and attract top talent.
Work closely with HR and leadership to improve recruiting strategies and ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring practices.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in technical recruiting, preferably within aerospace, engineering, or high-tech industries.
Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques and tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and AI-driven recruitment platforms.
Familiarity with technical roles such as aerospace engineers, robotics engineers, software developers, and systems engineers.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data tracking and reporting.
Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to changing hiring needs.
Experience with diversity recruiting strategies and employer branding initiatives is a plus.
Passion for aerospace, space technology, and innovation is highly desirable.
