Join TrustPoint: Build the Future of Space-Based Navigation

At TrustPoint, we’re on a mission to revolutionize navigation and timing from space by creating the world’s first fully commercial next-generation Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS). Imagine being part of a team designing, building, and deploying state-of-the-art satellites that will reshape how the world uses space for positioning and navigation. This is your chance to work on real hardware, support upcoming satellite launches, and contribute to cutting-edge satellite operations—all while helping to solve some of the most exciting challenges in aerospace.

As a fast-moving startup, we’re breaking the mold of traditional GNSS by developing a resilient, secure, and high-performance system tailored for tomorrow’s critical applications. From launching satellites into orbit to innovating on payload hardware and ground systems, we are turning ambitious ideas into reality. By joining TrustPoint, you’ll play a hands-on role in building the infrastructure of the future and be part of the growing ecosystem transforming space into the next frontier of technological innovation.

This isn’t just an internship—it’s an adventure. Whether you’re passionate about embedded systems, hardware design, payload integration, or satellite testing, our program immerses you in the fast-paced world of startup life and space missions. Join us, and let’s shape the future of space-based navigation together.

Basic Qualifications:

Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or other related field.

We’d Like to See:

Extracurricular design team or project experience, leadership and teamwork experience, demonstrated ability to learn and execute a broad range of skills.

Description:

As an Undergraduate Engineering Intern at TrustPoint you will work closely with our engineering team to design, validate, and deploy technology to support our cutting-edge constellation of navigation satellites. We are looking for individuals with backgrounds and/or interests in the following disciplines:

Embedded Software Engineering tasks will revolve around design, development, and testing of software and firmware which controls critical operations aboard our spacecraft and ground receiver equipment. These tasks will include but not be limited to programming and algorithm development in VHDL, C, Python, and embedded Linux. Development will leverage common communication protocols such as UART, RS-422, and Ethernet.

Mechanical Integration and Test tasks will revolve around design, integration, and testing of hardware which keeps our satellites and ground equipment ruggedized against the harsh environments of launch, orbit, and weather. These tasks will include but not be limited to CAD design for mechanical fixtures, harness design and routing, creation and execution of environmental testing procedures, thermal simulation and testing, and servicing of ground receiver equipment.

Electrical Engineering tasks will revolve around design, testing, and validation of printed circuit boards which serve as the main computing and RF processing devices aboard our satellite payloads. These tasks will include but not be limited to PCB design, simulations, circuit analysis, soldering, and creation and execution of PCB bring-up testing procedures. They will require a basic knowledge of circuit design, PCB CAD tools, and electrical engineering principles.

RF and Digital Signal Processing
tasks will revolve around RF and DSP design, testing, and analysis. These tasks will include but not be limited to signal analysis, algorithm implementation, and creation and execution of RF system testing procedures. They will require a basic knowledge of RF systems, digital signal processing, and related testing tools and software such as software defined radios, spectrum analyzers, and GNU Radio.

Compensation and Benefits:

The selected candidate will be competitively compensated with salary and standard benefits.
