P2 – Software Engineer II (Full Stack)

Role Overview

Trimble is seeking a Software Engineer (P2) to support the FedRAMP initiative. This is a key engineering role focused on the hands-on development of secure, compliant, and high-quality software. You will be responsible for executing feature-level tasks, adhering to implementation best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet FedRAMP readiness standards. Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Feature Development: Design and develop full-stack web features using C#, ASP.NET Core, Angular, and SQL Server.

  • Security Compliance: Implement secure coding practices in alignment with FedRAMP requirements.

  • Execution: Take ownership of assigned tasks within epics to ensure high-quality and on-time delivery.

  • Vulnerability Remediation: Work with QA and Security teams to troubleshoot and fix vulnerabilities or compliance findings.

  • Collaboration: Actively participate in design discussions and contribute practical ideas for feature implementation.

  • Code Quality: Participate in peer code reviews to ensure security, performance, and maintainability.

  • CI/CD Support: Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.

  • Maintenance: Assist in troubleshooting, defect resolution, and maintaining production stability.

  • Cloud Operations: Experience with AWS and Azure skills is strongly preferred.

  • Proactive Remediation: Effective resolution of security and compliance issues.

  • Team Contribution: Active and constructive participation in Agile ceremonies and technical discussions.

  • Cloud Fluency: Demonstrated familiarity with AWS and Azure platforms is advantageous.

Required Skills

  • Technical Stack: Hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, Angular, and SQL Server.

  • Security Awareness: Good understanding of web application security (OWASP) and secure development.

  • Workflow: Experience working with enterprise-scale systems and complex workflows.

  • DevOps Basics: Familiarity with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Agile: Experience working in a Scrum or Agile environment.

  • Communication: Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly within a team setting.

  • Cloud Experience: Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure skills is strongly preferred.

Experience

  • 3–5 years of professional software development experience.

  • Proven track record of delivering full-stack features independently.

  • Experience in a regulated or compliance-heavy environment (FedRAMP, SOC2, etc.) is a plus.

  • Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms is desirable.
