What Makes This Role Great:
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of Trimble’s digital transformation, directly spearheading the establishment of our Data Management Office (TDMO). You won't just be managing a process; you will be architecting the frameworks, councils, and standards that define how a global technology leader utilizes its most valuable resource—data.
Key Exciting Responsibilities
Architect the TDMO: Lead the establishment and ongoing operation of the Trimble Data Management Office, from charter definition to high-impact stakeholder communication.
Empower the Data Council: Build and manage the Data Governance Council, identifying key stewards and providing the training needed to champion data excellence.
Master the Metadata: Oversee high-stakes metadata initiatives, including customer data cleanup and the migration of complex systems into a unified data ecosystem.
Launch the Data Catalog: Drive the implementation of a comprehensive data catalog, documenting lineage and definitions to make data accessible and actionable.
Guardian of Data Integrity: Develop data quality scorecards and enforce lifecycle controls to ensure our data is secure, classified, and compliant.
Essential Skills & Experience
Professional Experience: 3+ years of demonstrable experience in Project Management, Program Coordination, or Business Analysis, ideally within a technical or data-heavy environment.
Data Expertise: Strong understanding of metadata management principles and data lifecycle management, including access controls and retention policies.
Strategic Communication: Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with a proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approach to complex data ecosystems.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Compensation: Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule.
