Regional Marketing Assistant Manager, India (AECO)

About the Role
Trimble is growing the APAC marketing team and as a part of these strategic plans, we’re looking for an Regional Marketing Assistant Manager - in India to support our marketing efforts across the country and drive strategic initiatives focused on lead generation and revenue growth.
As the Assistant Manager for Regional Marketing in India, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the execution of demand generation and revenue-focused marketing initiatives for Trimble’s AECO (Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Owner-operator) business. India is a high-priority, Tier 1 growth market for Trimble , and this role is critical to sustaining the region's stellar performance in marketing pipeline generation and revenue growth. You will work closely with the India Sales and SDR teams to implement high-impact local programs while aligning with global marketing initiatives and transformation goals. You will be accountable for pipeline contribution, revenue growth, and brand awareness within the region.
Key Responsibilities
Demand Generation execution: Support the development and rollout of multi-channel demand generation programs, localized to suit Indian audiences, while being in line with the global plans and initiatives, across channels such as email marketing, LinkedIn, Google ads and other paid, owned and earned media channels. Closely collaborate with global and regional marketing teams to adapt campaigns for local relevance.
Revenue & Pipeline Growth: Partner closely with local Sales, SDRs, technical teams to drive new business opportunities and grow existing business, to contribute to pipeline and revenue goals. Optimize local lead generation, nurture programs, and ensure effective follow-up with sales teams. You will own a defined target of pipeline contribution through marketing-sourced, influenced, and attributed initiatives.
Field Marketing & Events: Design and manage a localized events strategy, including executive roundtables, tradeshows, and Trimble-hosted events, to build brand awareness and thought leadership. Assist execution of large regional events as well as smaller format account focused events.
Sales & SDR alignment: Maintain a well-defined "lead to win" process by partnering closely with SDRs and local Sales teams to ensure effective follow-up and lead conversion.
Content & Localization: Create and manage India-specific content and messaging that resonates with local audiences while ensuring alignment with Trimble’s global brand story. Localize global initiatives and campaigns to cater to Indian audiences.
Strategic Local Partnerships: Own and drive relations and initiatives with key local industry bodies, associations, advisories, and technology alliances to expand market reach.
Budget & ROI: Closely track regional marketing budget, and regularly report on marketing effectiveness and ROI to local stakeholders as well as roll ups to APAC and Global metrics.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Experience: Minimum 8 years of B2B marketing experience in India, ideally within high-growth SaaS or technology organizations (CAD/CAM/BIM industry or construction technology experience would be a big plus!)
Educational Background: A degree in Marketing, Communications, or Engineering (Civil Engineering background is a plus!).
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; with an extremely keen-eye on details.
Domain Expertise: Proven track record in demand generation, field marketing, event management, and integrated campaigns.
Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency with Marketing Automation Tools (MAT), CRM (e.g., Salesforce), and analytics tools.
Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the Construction industry and an understanding of its unique issues and personas is highly preferred.
Analytical Skills: Metrics-driven mindset with the ability to define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
