What Makes This Role Great:
As a Software Architecture Trainee, you won’t just be writing code—you’ll be helping to modernize the foundational architecture of Tekla Structures, our flagship BIM software. You will have the unique opportunity to work on high-impact projects like Linux cross-platform development or designing REST APIs, with the potential to transition your internship into a Master’s Thesis project.

Location: Espoo, Finland
Key Exciting Responsibilities
Modernize Core Systems: Tackle the modularization of a large-scale C# codebase to enhance performance, maintainability, and testability.
Innovate with New Tech: Build and test prototypes to explore emerging technologies and modern development practices.
Bridge Digital Worlds: Design and implement desktop-to-cloud solutions and data products that streamline global construction workflows.
Enable Multi-Platform Growth: Contribute to architectural shifts that enable our code to compile and run seamlessly on Linux.
Essential Skills & Experience
Currently enrolled as a university student in Computer Science or a related field.
Strong interest and foundational experience in coding, specifically with C# or TypeScript.
Natural problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to learning.
Fluent English communication skills.
Bonus Points For
Familiarity with REST API design.
Interest in cloud-native technologies or cross-platform development.
Previous experience with building information modeling (BIM) software or large-scale codebases.
