About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and disciplined individual to join our Global License Compliance team as a Strategic License Compliance Manager.

Reporting to the Manager of License Compliance for EMEA & Americas, this role will focus on high-value, complex compliance opportunities. This role is quota-carrying and requires a strong commitment to hitting booking targets. For this role, you must possess an excellent understanding of copyright legislation and license compliance best practices, but more importantly, you must possess diplomacy and a willingness to work with clients, internal, and external stakeholders to find solutions that offer the best outcome for all parties.

What You Will Do:

  • Quota Achievement: Drive the achievement of quarterly and annual bookings targets by identifying and resolving non-compliant use cases across the Americas region .

  • Accurate Forecasting: Monitor and maintain rigorous accuracy in pipeline forecasting and reporting (QTD and YTD), ensuring visibility into opportunities for senior leadership .

  • Strategic Opportunity Management: Identify, validate, and close high-value license compliance cases, focusing on maximizing revenue recovery .

  • C-Level Negotiation: Lead complex negotiations with C-level stakeholders at large enterprise accounts to resolve infringement issues and drive revenue, demonstrating the courage to facilitate challenging conversations.

  • Agency & Audit Management: Work with third-party auditing firms to complete remote or on-site audits to identify non-compliance and work towards a resolution.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Legal, Sales, and Customer Success teams to drive compliance engagements that generate revenue while maintaining positive relationships.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in license compliance, software piracy, or software asset management, with a track record of closing complex, high-value deals .

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or a related field.

  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English and Spanish is required due to the territory coverage. Portuguese is highly preferred.

  • Forecasting Accuracy: Proven ability to accurately forecast and report on account activity and pipeline health.

  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with available internal compliance analytics tools and databases and hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM.

  • Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to engage and influence senior management and successfully mitigate complex pushback regarding compliance situations.

  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of software license agreements, copyright legislation, and the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, discretion in handling politically sensitive information, and the ability to work independently.

  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50% to meet business needs within the Americas region.
