Are you a SAAS or ConTech sales professional looking to take your career to the next level?
If so we have a senior Field Sales Representative role working in our Netherlands sales team. In this position, you will focus on high value and/or complex sales in the Construction Sector building on our enviable reputation and client base in the MEP space, you will cross-sell and upsell to existing customers as well as identify new potential business from businesses which have trialled our software, those that have requested additional information and those met through industry events. You will manage an existing portfolio of clients but also be responsible for growing our market share in the wider Construction Tech market in the Benelux region, specifically growing our footprint in the Project Management and Structural Design space.
We have market leading products in these areas and you will be supported by teams of Sales Development Representatives, providing quantified (warm) leads as well as a team of Sales Engineers and other colleagues who can assist you in providing product demonstrations to potential customers.
We will provide you with all of the tools and support to be successful in this position but to be successful, you will leverage your deep understanding of SAAS sales and your ability to build and maintain strong relationships to achieve sales targets and contribute to Trimble’s success.
About Your Location & Business Travel:
You’ll manage your own calendar/diary and there will be travel to client sites across the Benelux region for sales meetings, product demonstrations and similar for roughly 20-25% of your time.
When you are not travelling for business, there is the expectation that you will work 2-3 days from our Bodegraven office, so that you can share best practice and build relationships with your colleagues in the sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and qualify potential new customers in the Benelux region
Work with existing accounts and manage upsell and cross-selling opportunities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets
Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organisations
Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations to showcase the value of Trimble's BIM software solutions
Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product management, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to effectively position Trimble's solutions
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts using CRM software
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring:
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in SAAS sales, both new logo and existing accounts, preferably within the ConTech software industry
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior-level executives and decision-makers
Self-motivated, result-driven, and ability to work independently
Willingness and ability to travel within the Benelux region as needed
Desirable Skills & Experience You Should Bring:
Formal sales training, knowledge and understanding of Challenger sales model or similar
Working background within the digital construction sector
Understanding of BIM software products and usage
