Are you passionate about crafting intuitive and visually appealing web interfaces? Do you have a knack for React programming, and are you eager to dive into the world of cloud service development? Would you like to work in a truly global organization with international colleagues?
We are looking for a Trainee for around 6 months to join our Business Solutions team in Espoo Leppävaara, Finland. We hope you can start work in April/May and continue until the end of September/October.
What You Will Do:
As a Trainee, you will be developing user-friendly and up-to-date Online Services for our Tekla customers. Tekla Online Services enables customers to take the products into use by offering downloads, learning, help and support materials, and extensions to products. They allow users to share content across applications and teams. You can read more about our Online Services on tekla.com. Your tasks will include:
Collaborate with our experienced development team to enhance and maintain web applications running on AWS, using React;
Contribute to the implementation of user interfaces for a seamless user experience;
Participate in all team activities like sprint and team meetings and maintenance activities.
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring:
Experience in React programming is required - preferably work experience. If you have a work portfolio, it would be great to see it;
Experience in HTML, CSS, Typescript, and Javascript technologies;
Experience/interest in cloud environments (preferably AWS) and full-stack development;
Being positive, active, and enthusiastic about web development and willing to learn new skills;
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with fluent English.
What Skills & Experience You Could Bring:
Experience/interest in web design and development, UX or service design is an advantage.
About Your Location:
You will be based in our brand-new office in Leppävaara, Espoo. It is a 5 min walk from Leppävaara train station to our office. We have a flexible hybrid working policy.
