Do you have a keen interest or professional experience in Civil Design and Engineering? Trimble is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to work with our customers to succeed in the transformation to a fully digital workflow, specifically supporting our Quadri BIM software and Novapoint design tools.
What This Role Is:
In this role you will be responsible for providing technical support for our customers in addition to project support and training. If you enjoy solving problems, helping others and developing yourself within digital tools, you will become a natural part of our team. We hope to find a curious person that wishes to be developed into a Subject Matter Expert in these softwares and takes pride in providing best in class support to our customers and the challenges they face in transforming how the World works.
You will work in close collaboration with the existing team and be mentored from the very beginning through an onboarding process, so you feel both welcome and supported. You will be part of a global team even though your office will be located in Gothenburg, Sweden or Sandvika, Norway.
What You Will Do:
Technical Customer support by phone, e-mail and remote access
Be a technical advisor on Civil Engineering Software and services for existing and new customers both on site and in house support
Help customers resolve technical challenges and increase/upskill customers product/software knowledge
Perform software testing
Creating FAQ’s, best practice videos and descriptions to help our customers
Software online training and classroom training
Project support
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring:
BSc or MSc in Civil Engineering (other type of background with a relevant experience in Civil Engineering will be considered)
Service mindedness and a genuine interest to help others to succeed
Communications skills in Swedish / Norwegian and English (written and verbal)
Knowledge about Scandinavian design standards is preferred
Ability to learn and adapt fast to changes and new environments
Organised and analytical
Road, Rail or W&S design experience
Experience with Trimble software like Quadri and Novapoint is required
