Role Summary

Reporting to the V&V Team Lead, your primary role will be to develop test plans, test procedures and test all aspects of the product, system and software against specifications. The V&V role includes partaking of various levels of verification and validation such as performance tests in dynamic environments utilizing multiple techniques and vehicles. The V&V engineer also partakes in continuous automation and improvement of V&V process.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop test plans for Applanix products

  • Conduct independent tests of the system including functional and performance tests

  • Documentation and presentation of tests results

  • Analyze out of performance issues and pinpoint source of errors for developers

  • Create and maintain testing tools for tests automation and continuous improvement

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering in one of the following areas: Engineering Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical, Computer Eng, Aerospace

  • Good understanding of systems engineering field – working with multi-sensor complex systems

  • Excellent analytical skills, problem solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Strong understanding of real-time embedded systems & expertise in RTOS

  • Knowledge of GNSS, inertial and sensor technology

  • Team player and great communication and interpersonal skills are a MUST for this role. Good documentation skills
