Are you a Software Engineer/Developer that wants to be at the heart of analyzing, designing, and programming cutting-edge software enhancements and new products in a collaborative environment?
What You Will Do
As part of the Trimble Transportation Team, you will be working on a project called OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) that is responsible for providing remote diagnostic information about vehicles to their customers through a web portal. You will be acting as a Full Stack Developer and will be responsible for enhancing and supporting the OEM solution.
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar degree, or related equivalent experience.
2+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java and Javascript (NodeJS).
Experience with web application development frameworks. (Spring/NestJS)
Experience with SQL and No SQL databases. (MySQL, MongoDB)
Experience with cloud technologies. (AWS, Azure)
Intermediate/Advanced English level.
Ability to work cross-functionally with people from other departments and disciplines.
Problem solver and self-starter.
Nice to have:
Familiarity with front-end frameworks, such as AngularJS and React.
Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Primary Responsibilities:
Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies.
Collaborate with the team to design good solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
Work on the development of new software products and punctual maintenance of existing systems.
Conduct unit testing and integration testing to ensure the quality of the code.
Create and maintain technical documentation.
Understand and apply industry coding standards.
Perform code reviews.
Maintain frequent and open communication with the team.
