Your Title: IS Help Desk Summer Intern
Job Location: Danderyd, Sweden
Our Department: Corporate Information Systems
This is a fully onsite Summer internship position from May to August 2025.
What You Will Do:
Support help desk requests received via ticketing systems, walk-ups, and phone calls
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues to assist users in regaining productivity
Set up and configure new computer equipment
Manage equipment inventory and assist with recycling inventory
Work on IT projects as assigned
Provide remote support when required
Skills for success:
Fluent English and Swedish
Availability for full-time work
Basic proficiency with: Dell workstations and laptops, Android & Apple mobile devices, Windows 10/11 and mainstream applications
General understanding and working knowledge of mainstream computer operating systems, hardware, and software
Comfortable working and communicating with people; extravert tendencies are a plus
Teamwork, collaboration, and a professional work ethic
Organized with an attention to detail
Adaptable and willing to try new ideas
Punctual, reliable, and open to constructive feedback
Discrete in handling confidential and sensitive information
Goals of the Internship:
Learn the aspects of information systems and technology services
Hands-on learning experience in the technology arena
Learn how to work and be effective in a team environment
Learn how to communicate well with various employees from around the world
Learn to troubleshoot computer problems effectively with other IS staff from various teams
Job Location
Onsite at our office in Danderyd. Trimble Danderyd is a 10,000 sqm site that houses production and R&D for optical instruments all divided on 4 floors.
